General Conference Information
The 49th Quadrennial Session of the General Conference of the A.M.E Church will be held June 27– July 4, 2012, in Nashville, Tennessee.
You don’t want to miss this historical and memorable conference election! You will have a chance to make 2012 the most important election for Bishop in over 12 years. It is within our power to elect Rev. Dr. Harry L. Seawright, a visionary leader and anointed man of God. He is a man who will address critical issues facing the A.M.E. church and examine the economic realities of our existence. The Observer fee is $115 per adult, $50 per college student and $25 for youth ages 5 – 18. Complete the on-line form; make sure you inform them you are in the 2nd Episcopal District; and come out for an incredible experience.

Seawright for Bishop Chartered Bus to Nashville TN

The bus will depart from Union Bethel AME Church, Brandywine, MD, at 11:30pm, on Sunday, July 1, 2011 and return approximately 11:00pm, on Thursday evening.

The Seawright for Bishop Command Center will be staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville, TN.
The Seawright for Bishop Campaign Team will stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites, across the street from the Gaylord Hotel.
Transportation will be provided by the AME Church and/or Seawright for Bishop to the nightly District Meetings and meal events.
The Committee to Elect Seawright for Bishop will hold nightly planning meetings at the Command Center.
The times of the meetings will be available daily, at the campaign booth or by calling the Command Center.
**PLEASE NOTE** The suite number of the command center will be provided in Nashville.
